Clevis Pins
A clevis pin is used in conjunction with a clevis joint to allow pivoting of two connected parts about the axis of a pin.
A clevis pin has a shank that passes through the hole in the clevis joint and the part to be held in place.
The pin can be held in place by various methods. Some have a small hole allowing for a cotter pin to be inserted and locked into position.
Another type may be held in place by a circlip or e-clip. Another easy to assemble type, available from MBA has an integral
spring clip on the pin which clips over the shank of the clevis joint allowing for an easy to fit self locking assembly which doesn't
require additional clips or pins to lock it in place.
