Polypropylene

MBA Products made from this material
Balls

A thermoplastic with lower impact strength but better tensile strength and working temperature than LDPE or HDPE (low and high density polyethylene). Polypropylene is lighter than water, resists many acids and alkalis and has very low moisture absorption.

Disadvantages of polypropylene are high thermal expansion, high creep, poor UV resistance and accelerated oxidative degradation by contact with certain materials.
